Life is Long Enough

Don't let people tell you that life is short. It isn't. Life lets us find out what makes us laugh and then do it, find all sorts of people and animals we love and feel it in many different ways. We always have the option to 'start again' except it's not starting again, it's choosing for us. Choosing things that bring us more happiness and fulfilment. Life is only short when you make it so. Life is far too long to do things you don't love. Goals, needs and wants are allowed to change. Welcome those changes. Whether you choose willingly or life hands you the change , it's allowed and it's OK. What you wanted to be when you grew up might be worth going after now you've experienced life doing what you though you had to or should do at 17 when you were forced to choose.

I had my passions, goals and dreams seemingly taken away from me at just 20 years old. I was an opera singer and pianist with other instruments on the side until i had a diving accident which paralysed me from the chest down. No more singing, no more working hands, not even the power of speech for months. My dreams were gone in an instant. I see this in so many people that come to me for help and guidance at all ages. What they wanted and worked their whole loves towards isn't possible anymore so they think that means that all goals and dreams are over for the rest of their lives. Not so. It's ok to find a new passion, to have something else make you as happy as your old dream did. It can and it will if you allow it. I allowed natural healing and helping others to become my passion and again at 31 i have started my journey to become a Doctor, officially. It's never too late, it's never too long, it's never too different. Whether you are 20 or 50, be flexible. Don't stay stuck. Don't give up on dreams old or new. It may be scary but it will give you and everyone you love a better life. That's what happens when you follow your gut and what you know to be true for you. Switch from a singer to an accountant, a lawyer to a carpenter, an accountant to a landscaper. Take courses, research opportunities, volunteer. Be fearlessly you. Money WILL follow when your heart leads the way. It is just an extension of our true abundance. Feel the fear and do it anyway. You will be so glad you did.
